JUNIOR QUIZZING
Grades 4-6
Here at CCD, we have two programs: Junior Quizzing and Senior Quizzing. Junior Quizzing is for our elementary students (grades 4-6), while Senior Quizzing is for our middle and high school students (grades 7-12).
Junior Quizzing gives young students the opportunity to have a lot of fun while intentionally getting to know God's Word better. Students bond with friends while learning teamwork, self-discipline, how to study the Bible, and how to handle emotions in competition.
Many students go on to Senior Quizzing after they graduate grade 6, finding they are better equipped to do well after their experience in Junior Quizzing.
Junior vs Senior
While Junior Quizzing shares much similarity with Senior Quizzing, it has some differences that make it better geared towards younger ages.
These differences include:
Memorizing only 40% of the material
Less question types
Only interrogatives, finishes, and quotes
More prompts from quizmasters during quizzes
Not attending Muskoka Woods
Juniors have their own fun day for their last tournament!
Ineligible for internationals
Internationals is solely for Seniors
